The Main house offers guests two superb and spacious, ensuite rooms one of which has a Jacuzzi bath. Both rooms are located on the first floor (stair access) and have a double bed and single bed. They have been tastefully furnished in a style that befits the chateau and provide a very high standard of rooms.
For a romantic break in autumn or winter, we offer a pleasant stay with central heating and cosy evenings around a log fire. Dine by candle light and relax afterwards in our spacious lounge with an Irish coffee.
Continental breakfast is included in the tariff and we are able to offer all our guests full English/Irish/American Breakfasts on order at extra charge in the Main House dining room.
The rooms are available throughout the year with no minimum stay period and can be combined for larger guest groups with the Tower Apartment into a single booking. Long lets are also available as we are an ideal location for an extended stay for prospective house buyers or those who wish to further explore Normandy past and present. SPRING AND SUMMER PERIODS: Please note that rate is based upon two persons. A supplement of £20.00 per night is applied to third person occupancy. For single person occupancy the rate is £35.00 per night.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: Guests making a booking of less than four nights will be required to pay the full balance unless it is being rented as part of a large group package with the Tower apartment in which case a deposit will be calculated based upon the total balance. Guests making a booking for four or more nights will be required to pay a deposit of 25%
If the booking is cancelled 45 to 14 days prior to date of arrival for a booking of less than four nights 75% will be refunded. Less than 14 days cancellation notice 50% will be refunded. If a booking for four or more nights is cancelled 45 to 14 days prior to date of arrival 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Less than 14 days cancellation notice the full deposit will be retained. Acceptance of these terms and conditions are required for all bookings
This unusual and very different accommodation consists of four levels inside the tower or turret of the Castle Wall. The apartment is fully equipped and benefits from central heating, full double glazing and open log fire. A stone spiral stair gives access to the rooms. There are two double bedrooms sleeping four people and sleeping for six people is possible using the sofa bed in the apartment lounge. The lounge has a TV, DVD and CD music player. The kitchen has all utensils and includes oven, hob, microwave oven, washing machine and clothes dryer, iron and ironing board. The luxurious bathroom not only has a Jacuzzi bath but also has a Hydro shower. Linen and towels are provided.
Relaxing in front of the log fire, submerged in the Spa bath, or refreshing in the waterfall of the Hydro shower you are guaranteed to feel totally serene

Le Tour du Nord or North Tower/Turret Apartment offers an unusual and unique experience in high quality accommodation at a sensible price. Our elegantly styled rooms offer real quality and comfort.
BOOKING AND CANCELLATION POLICY: An advance deposit of 33% per week booked is payable to secure the booking. The full balance is required eight weeks prior to date of arrival. If the booking is made less than eight weeks to date of arrival the full balance is required. A security/damage deposit of £100 will be required upon arrival and will be refunded upon departure in full or in part depending upon our pre-departure inspection prior to you vacating the apartment.
If the booking is cancelled 45 to 14 days prior to arrival date 50 % of the deposit will be refunded. Cancellation less than 14 days the full deposit will be retained. Where a full balance has been paid and cancellation in the aforementioned circumstances occurs the balance will be returned less the appropriate deposit amount.
Acceptance of these terms and conditions are required for all bookings.

Le Chateau du Taillis is approximately three kilometres from the village of St Andre de Bohon on the Route de Marchesieux with easy access from the ferry terminals at Cherbourg and Caen.
Our Castle is ideal for a main holiday, get away from it all break, or to celebrate a special occasion. Guests have access to our 30 acres of wooded and landscaped grounds, our outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace which is available exclusively for guests. Occasional activity events in the Chateau grounds such as Ball Trap (clay pigeon shooting) are available or can be arranged for our guests. The” An Tobar ” Bar Brasserie on the east side of the Chateau with its moat terrace and large open log fire provides a friendly and relaxing retreat for our guests. Enjoy a cocktail or a glass of wine or perhaps savour some of the culinary delights offered on our a la carte or table d’hote menus. Special Occasion/Celebration or Romantic dinners can also be arranged.
